During a thunderstorm my grandpas dog was at his farm and was on a metal,chain. My grandpa was at his other house down the street. The next day he went to the farm and found his mix terrier dead on the ground. Its belly was blue, yes blue. So if a dog gets hit by lighting does there bellys turn blue then they die?

Poor dog, but it will die, im not sure about the blue belly though.
